The Wolf House

A young woman, Maria, escaping from a fanatical religious sect, seek refuge in an house. Two pigs welcome her, apparently, the only inhabitants of the place. But slowly, the universe of the house seems to change, indulging the moods of Maria, even the pigs turn into human beings. The night mare has started.

Inspired to the real story of the sect of German origin caleld Colonia Dignidad, that committed cruel violences, in collaboration with the dictatorship of Pinochet.

La Casa Lobo is a great, disturbing and chaotic movie, animated in stop-motion, able to give shape to the spirit never soothe of the dictatorship.

Cristobal León & Joaquín Cociña live and work in Santiago de Chile. Both the artists and directors collaborate since 2007. Indipendent of each other, they create drawings, animations, installations, backdrops ad they write texts. Their products ofter deduce direct or indirect inspiration from the literature for children, using and replacing the same storytellings aesthetics visions.
