The FFF’s winners
Yesterday evening, at the FFF’s awards cerimony, the FFF’s awards were assigned. The Platinum Grand Prize, dedicated to the most innovative work in the field of digital animation cinema, was assigned to Pixar’s last work One Man Band by Andrew Jimenez. The Future Film Festival Digital Award, the prize in collaboration with Alias dedicated to Italian works, was assigned to Dadà Mc / Reboot the world by Gianni Sinni of LCD (first prize ) and to Stop Me by Massimiliano Gherzi of Direct To Brain (second prize). For the contest Future Film Short the prizes were assigned to Little Things by Daniel Greaves (1000 euros - first prize) and to Limbo Art History by Patrizio Ansaloni and Andrea Nadalini (500 euros - second prize). The Future Web Festival’s winners are: for the independent category Yamamoto Kyoko (first prize) with the following site www.terotero.com and Samuele Schiavo (second prize) with the site for the corporate category Sergio Sini (first prize) with the site www.exte.it and Silvia Saba (second prize) with the site www.screenweek.it.
Last Day
Quick rhythm until the last day! Today the Danish author Jannik Hastrup will meet the FFF’s audience, Andrea Maiolo of Industrial Light and Magic will show us the making of The chronicles of Narnia and important previews as Yokai Daisensou by Miike Takashi, Aeon Flux by Karyn Kusama, Mind Game by Yuasa Masaaki, the Awarding of Future Film Short, Digital Award, Future Web Festival…

Inuyasha Day!
A whole day dedicated to the half-daemon Inuyasha, the character of the most shown anime in the world. There will be focus on the other characters of the series, premiere of fifth serie, premiere of Inuyasha The Movie - TheCrimson Hourai Island, Inuyasha’s specials and the Inuyasha Cosplay Contest. Bologna will be invaded by a momentary Inuyasha Mania!
Moreover Tom Cardone from Blue Sky will show up the first footage of Ice Age 2.
Third Day of Future Film Festival
In the middle of the festival, important guests arrive in Bologna to present their works as Kyle Cooper, the author of famous and innovative head titles, Andrew Jimenez, the director of the last short by Pixar, One Man Band, one of the FFF’s preview, David Nadal, who will show the last chapter of Alone in the Dark, and the band Elio e le storie tese who had dubbed Terkel, one of the FFF’s preview.
The second Day of Future Film Festival
Yesterday we showed you the premiere of Wallace & Gromit – the Curse of the Were Rabbit and today you can understand the stop-motion technique on the workshop with Ian Whitlock, the Aardman key animator.
Today you can find also the masterpieces with animation with puppets made by the Czech animator Jiri Trnka (homage to Jiri Trnka).
Future Film Festival 2006 is open!
Five days full of the best animated cinema, meetings with the most important special effects production companies and great homages. FFF starts with rabbits made in plasticine (the premiere of Wallace & Gromit – the Curse of the Were Rabbit), a digital ape (event King Kong), mutant umans (premiere of Casshern), giant robots (Brain Powered), a pink pig (premiere of Mc Dull-Pince de la Bun), the Dave McKean poetry (Mirrormask) and more.
