Future Film Short è la tradizionale sezione del Future Film Festival dedicata ai cortometraggi provenienti da tutto il mondo, realizzati con tecniche di animazione tradizionale e digitale, o live con effetti speciali.
Anche quest’anno, come nella scorsa edizione del Festival, il premio è stato assegnato dal pubblico presente in sala, che ha votato il proprio corto preferito.
I cortometraggi più votati dal pubblico del FFF2006, che si sono così aggiudicati il Premio del Pubblico GAN sono Little Things di Daniel Greaves (primo premio di 1000 euro) e Limbo ArtHistory di Patrizio Ansaloni e Andrea Nadalini (secondo premio 500 euro).
